Oksana Pjstaschuk
POSTASCHUCK, Oksana Nikolaevna: Born 9 December 1977 in Prague, Czechoslovakia. Presently lives in Donetsk, Ukraine. Her parents noticed her love of drawing at a young age, and sent her to children’s art school. After finishing the children’s art school in 1994 she attended an art college and studied art education. After the termination of her college studies in 2000, she was admitted to the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture. In her third year at the National Academy she entered the workshop of easel painting taught by Professor M.E. Guyda.
While at the Academy she participated in Shatalin competitions, etc. She had the good fortune to study under remarkable artists which helped her to perfect her creative talents. She likes to write and draw absolutely everything she sees: flowers, nature, but mostly of all people with pleasant appearance and beautiful souls.
She works with any technique, including oil, pastel, sanguine and sauce.
Her favorite contemporary artists is Guyda, and from the classics, Degas, Vrubel, Serov, etc.
